i loved you piggie.

eden hemming rose's favorite color is red. her first day of kindergarten, she hitchhicked with one of her neighbors to get to school. she is opinionated and intelligent, and loves to learn new things; someday she hopes to be an archaeologist. her major obsessions are radiohead, learning swedish, collecting turn-of-the-century books, and singing silly songs with no consistency.

at the tender age of nine, she began to imitate her father by writing poetry. her second poem ever (the first having been lost) was called "dads" and went something like "dads are cool / dads are neat / but they make you/ wipe your feet."

luckily, the tumultuous years of teenagehood gave more depth and sensitivity to her writing. being an outcast in high-school and being hospitalized for a month for back surgery strengthened her self-knowledge and prose.

in 2003, she married brad, one of her soulmates, and started to work on a bunch of things she never thought she could accomplish on her own. she moved to tulsa, oklahoma and is now back in school studying anthropology.
