where, oh where, has sistrum gone? right here, friends. eloine is the latest project by sistrum/public eyesore kingpin, bryan day. three long tracks of lucid guitar lines, jangling percussion, and a boatload of additional instrumentation line the pockets of "short community." the community here is made up of eastern and western influences. probably the only record this year to prominently feature apples being cut on a cutting board as a main instrument. very nice indeed. 86 copies
