Named after a track on Creedence Clearwater Revival?s second album, this hard working Minneapolis quartet was born out of the ashes of local punk rockers, Midnight Evils and offer up ten slices of full-tilt boogie rock and roll with energy to spare. A steamrolling, wango-tango, Ted Nugent vibe rips through opener, ?So Stupid,? which blatantly wears its ?You Really Got Me? origins on its sleeve. The three-piece Horns of Eleganza spit ferocious trumpet and trombone blasts all over ?Take Mine Down? and the rest of the album continues at the same furious pace ? fast, faster, and fastest. It?s a sweaty, raunchy, finger-licking good rock and roll album, with kudos to lead guitarist, Jesse Tomlinson, who, on the strength of the stomping ?The Ice Queen? has more than a few ZZ Top albums in his collection. Recommended to fans of fast and furious rock and roll from the likes of George Thorogood, Ted Nugent and even The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. This is one of the year?s best, heart stopping party albums! So grab a few cold ones, hit the dance floor and keep on Chooglin?! 7/10 --
