More an attempt to sonically describe a specific landscape in time than a set of tunes, :hue:, therefore, invite a description of how well they (he? She?) evoke that place, rather than the usual parsing of musical motifs. That place is Italy, during one hot summer day. Found sounds such as rain, bells, breezes mix with whispered voices that seem both like prayer and personal secrets. There is music here, but it too feels intimate, a low ambient buzz circling the concrete action caught by the tape recorder.
To listen to this is to feel like you are invading someone?s space, yet you are invited in. But this is not exhibitionism; you are let in because, it being such a beautiful day, why wouldn?t all be invited? 8/10 --
