Split CD of electronic tabelcore weirdness from Miami's Dino Felipe and Cleveland's Ken Rei. On this release, the enfant terrorible Felipe leans more in the direction of wandering, sinister ambiance. Rei delves headlong into obliterated, distorted beats and harsher, electronic wreckage. The CD works well as a complimentary presentation of both artists work.
Each artist is whacked-out, absurd, funny and diverse in their approach to electronics. But it's Rei's abstract komische electronics that wins me on this split, although, the creepiness of Felipe's work does captivate my thanotic obsessions. What the fuck: an all-around sterling split from these two. Recommended if you're into the electronic thing. Or even if you're not. Walls will pulse and drip. 7/10 --
