Indoorpark is a duo from Detroit consisting of guitarist Nick Schillace and drummer Jon Moshier, who is also credited with "audio", which I assume means the spoken word samples in some of the songs ("The Long Boy And The Fat Boy" features some extensive Jimmy Swaggert sampling). The album's seven tracks generally stretch out past six or seven minutes, and feature tightly arranged, well played instrumental rock. The focus seems to be on the guitar playing, which is melodic and subtly complex; a few times it sounds like more than one guitar is playing. I'm not really sure if there's any overdubbing or not. As a whole, though, the disc sort of falls under the "pleasant and enjoyable but not mindblowing" category. 6/10 -- Paul Simpson (6 August, 2008)
