Os Loosers, Owl Xounds, Release The Bats. This should be all you really need to hear to make you want to check this seven inch out. The Os Loosers Side is like some broken warbly tango with some distant vocal touches creeping in and out in a most tasteful way, and some pretty minimal percussion, totally sick. Owl Xounds’ side sounds intense enough to make me instantly think of Brotzman, particularly Last Exit due to the drumming that, while mostly in free time, has a very “rock”edge to it. I am not usually a seven inch person because they are so short, but in this case both sides slay so hard that you really need to get this. 9/10 -- Kevin Richards (8 July, 2009)
