For the sake of not confusing people and for the sake of me not having to type in ______ every time I mention the name I will refer to this artist as Line. Line is from Findland and makes "avant garde-post-drone-new wave-noise-rock." That description sounds like it could be a million things right? Well, that's kind of the vibe here. Two different tracks with two different ideas. The first is a mostly guitar based composition, revolving between heavy reverb/delay noise and gloomy alternative tuned guitar strums with a midpoint industrial drum loop. The second track still has the same gloomy vibe as the first track but with a piano setting the mood instead of guitars. Line's guitar playing is still all over this but as the piano goes back and forth between a few minor keys the guitar leaves more space and serves as more of a background. There are two or three guitars weaving in and out of each other with one serving as a low drone and the second switching between sharp stabs and pitched up guitar solos. Both compositions are based on the effect of multitracking with elements fading in and fading out. This gives each piece a sense of flow but at the same time gives you a sense that this might be really boring to watch live. A one man post-rock noise droner. 4/10 --
