the
juniper meadows are brad rose and chris skillern. brad & chris met
at the university of tulsa, in thomas conner's feature writing class,
during the spring 04 semester. formed through a belief that oklahoma
was ripe for quiet improvisations, centered around chris's newly acquired
banjo, the juniper meadows arrived in june 2004. inspired by everything
from the trees, the wind, the earth, and the spiritual aspects of nature,
songs were recorded. as things progressed, the love flowed in. somewhat
surprised by this response, the juniper meadows recorded a 2nd, better,
album and it was like christmas all over again. moving forward, the
beautiful fursaxa
agreed to do a split release and history was made. i write this in late
nov 04 and there now two juniper albums awaiting release. much love. |
